As I look back some four decades ago, the most glorious day of my life took place on a cool Spring day in 1971 when I walked into this Pentecostal Church in Juneau, Alaska and gave my life to Jesus Christ.  His Presence came flooding into my spirit and I was forever changed!  All desire for drugs and drinking immediately left me as new desires began to settle in.  To my husband's delight, I got my first job so I could help him pay off our huge debt and provide for our children's needs.  After cashing my first paycheck, I stuffed a month's salary in my coat pocket and rushed off to church.  When the offering plate was being passed from row to row, I asked the Lord, "What do you want me to give Lord?"  He said, "Put your hand in your pocket and whatever you can grasp, give that amount!"  I thought, "I have really big hands Lord but I will obey you."  With great joy, I put my hand into my pocket, grabbed what I could and I gave my first fistful of bills; and since that day, I have never stopped giving.  My husband and I have given away cars, trucks, fur coats, clothes, food, jewelry, and the more we give, the more joy, inexpressible joy we have in our giving.

When I answered the Lord's call into full-time ministry I began traveling to Indian villages and then to the nations always going "free of charge".  I trusted the Lord to meet all my financial needs and He has never failed me, not one time.  Some places I ministered at could not give anything but other places gave abundantly.  The Word is true: As it is written, he who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little did not lack."  II Corinthians 8:15.

In Numbers 18:23,24 it says the tithe is to be given to the Levites.  In Ephesians 4:7-11 it says the New Testament Levites are the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and the teachers.  As full-time ministers of the Gospel, we (as N.T.
